About the Director
Originally from Canada, Louisa Green has over 20 years of teaching experience in Japan, ranging from kindergarten all the way to the university level, as well as extensive experience in international schools. Louisa holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and a Certificate in Technology-Based Learning from the University of British Columbia.
Specializing in technology-enhanced & project-based learning, Louisa aims to foster a modern learning environment while advocating for inclusivity, environmental awareness, and community building.
Currently, she works as a part-time lecturer at Osaka Public University, Konan University, Mukogawa Women's University, and Kansai International University. She also teaches at the Self-Access English Island at Shoin University.
Before starting Green Space Kitano’s International Saturday School, Louisa taught in various roles at Saint Michael’s International Saturday School (SMIS) for ten years.
Louisa resides in Kobe’s historic Kitano district with her family including her two daughters and a golden retriever named Mighty Thor.
