English cafe

The Green Space Kitano Language Cafe is local self -access space that students and friends can visit multiple time a week if their schedule allows.

This safe, cozy spaces offer language learners a place to relax and speak English in a natural setting unlike a typical language lesson or structured classroom setting. Students can drop in and stay for as long as they like. Beverages and delicious treats will be provided and/or students can bring their own!

Consistency is the key when it comes to language learning and if you are able to join frequently, we are certain your language abilities will improve quickly and naturally. 

English will be our primary cafe language but we are looking forward to having multiple languages in the future including Japanese. We aim to be a truly international environment. ​

Students can buy cafe tickets in multiples of 5, 10, or 20. Drop-in’s are also welcome and if you introduce a friend, we will give you a free session!   

We ask that everyone shows mutual respect to their fellow language learners. This space is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to all ages, ethnicities, genders and religious backgrounds. We are proud to support the LGBTQ+ community and will be celebrating Pride events in the upcoming months.
